"Investment and Promise" Capital Campaign

Everyone associated with The Oakwood School has an opportunity to bring about a transformational change. This applies to our teachers in their work with students and to our families in their support of Oakwood. Oakwood, in turn, is providing an important educational option that helps attract and retain outstanding families in Greenville's growing medical, university and professional communities.

Due to increased enrollment over time and expanded programs to meet the needs of our students, we have had to provide additional top quality educational space. The school completed construction of a multi-purpose building in fall of 2004 and an Upper School building in the spring of 2006. Every bit of existing space in our first three buildings is being used and our Upper School building will be filling up quickly as we add a grade level each year.

The need to build was critical and the need to reduce our debt is equally important in order to secure the financial future of the school. To provide for the care and maintenance of this wonderful campus, a facilities fund is also needed. We are asking all Oakwood families, as well as area businesses and foundations, to support the "Investment and Promise" Capital Campaign. Our goal in this campaign is to raise $3 million.

Please speak with the school about Capital Campaign giving opportunities. We may be contacted via phone at 252.931.0760 or email at development@TheOakwoodSchool.org.
